Our priority is that EVERYONE feels safe in our Church. If you have any concerns please view our Safeguarding Guidance and Safeguarding Policy first. You can also see our Data Privacy Notice and our Electoral Roll Privacy Notice to find out how we handle your personal data.

The February 2021 edition of the Link, our Benefice magazine, is  available online for you to see..

With the closure of our building and then our restricted services, as well as the financial impact of the pandemic on many, we cannot receive all the gifts that we usually would, so we really need your help now. If you are able to give more at this time, we would be very grateful for your donation.

Where are we?

The Church is situated at the top of East Portlemouth Village.
Our grid reference is 748 384 on OS 1:25000 Outdoor Leisure 20.

We should love to hear from you. Please view or sign our Guestbook.

We would normally have a range of Services, one every Sunday, from traditional to modern, with a regular Family Service. Visitors and their children are always warmly welcomed.

While we were in vacancy, and during the continued national recovery from Covid, we could only have two services per month. We hope to expand back to our previous range but, in the meantime, see our What’s On page for further details of forthcoming services and other events.

St Winwaloe’s is a popular church for weddings and we consider it a great privilege to host your special day. If you would like to make an enquiry please complete this form. If you would like to look around our church and chat to our churchwarden, contact Lindsey on 01548 842330 or email

Our Village Hall is a lovely venue for wedding celebrations and is very close to the church. Contact Hall Secretary Jane Miller: Tel: 01548 844744; Email: for more details.

An organ recital is normally held each year in memory of Sir Neil Jephcott Bt., who died in 2012. See the section about the Jephcott Organ Recital.
