Bell Ringing
The Bell Tower was added to the church between 1400 and 1450 and the oldest bell, the tenor, was made by an Exeter foundry and dates from this time. The presumption must be made that a team of Bellringers has existed since that date!
Currently the ringers meet to practise from 5pm on a Wednesday evening. The team rings for all Services, Weddings and Funerals. In addition there are opportunities to ring in other Towers and to enter local competitions.
Everyone is welcome to come to learn or to join in with the team. Our Churchwarden will give you a contact name and telephone number.
