Road Closure from Rickham Cross to Vinivers Cross
Devon County have issued a notice of temporary prohibition of traffic from Rickham Cross to Vinivers Cross in East Portlemouth from Thursday 10th September 2026 for a maximum of five days, although it anticipates completion in just one day.
The closure is to allow for the investigation of a water leak.
This closes the main road out of East Portlemouth at High House Farm. The alternative route suggested is via the tidal road and then South Pool, as the road also remains closed at Chivelstone. High tide on that date is given as 0626 BST at 5.0m, a low of 0.9m is at 1213.
