All are welcome to join us at the church of St James the Greater in Slapton for our communion service for the whole Start Bay Mission Community. This service will include hymns, prayers, Bible readings and the office of Holy Communion presided over by Rev Mark Kitchenside.

Our annual service to celebrate and bless all animals, but particularly those pets and service animals who make our lives feel better or easier. Everyone is invited to bring either their pet, or an image of their animal, for a blessing during the service. This service is usually followed by refreshments.

A service, open to all, in memory of those we love but see no longer. With prayers, readings and the lighting of candles.

The annual service of remembrance will be held on Sunday 9th November 2025 starting in the church at 10:50 am. We will be going outside to the war memorial for the silence at 11:00 so please dress warmly.
