A service of music, hymns and prayers to end the day

A service of Holy Communion following the Common Worship format with music, hymns and prayers. This service will also celebrate the life of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and commemorate her passing.

A service of hymns and prayers to celebrate the harvest. This service usually includes a presentation by the village of the fruits of the harvest of both land and sea. It will be followed by an auction of foodstuffs in the village hall -- look out for further announcements!

Following the Harvest Service, on Sunday 2nd October, there will be afternoon tea and produce available to buy in the village hall.     All Are Welcome Donations of: flowers and foliage; produce and goods for auction; sandwiches and cakes for afternoon tea; will all be gratefully received.

St Sylvester's Church at Chivelstone will be hosting a special service in the Benefice, to be presided over by the Right Reverend Robert Atwell, Bishop of Exeter, to celebrate the harvest and to bless the restorations of the church. The service will be followed by a buffet lunch in the church. Everyone is welcome.

Our annual service to celebrate and bless all animals, but particularly those pets and service animals who make our lives feel better or easier. Everyone is invited to bring either their pet, or an image of their animal, for a blessing during the service. This service is usually followed by refreshments.
