The Bell Tower was added to the church in the 15th Century and the oldest bell, the tenor, was made in an Exeter foundry circa 1465. The presumption must be made that a team of Bellringers has existed since that date!!
Currently there are eight active ringers who meet to practise on a Wednesday evening. The team rings for all Services, Weddings, Funerals and competitions. In addition there are opportunities to ring in other Towers and to enter local competitions.
